Disco King is a Musical/Memory/Race game where two players clash each other. They have to memorize the way that they have to follow on the danceflor to reach the center of the room before they opponent. The theme of this Jam was "Throne" This game has been selected with other from this Jam to be shown hat Geekopolis 2014, a festival about Video Games that occured in Paris.

Game Jams are events where people meet up and make teams to create a game during 48 or 72 hours (sometimes more).

It's a great way to improve skills in video game conception and to meet people who share same passion.

I mostly worked on system design and programming for all these games.

 

GAME JAMS

Donkey Cloud is a two players game where one of the player controls a monkey and have to collect the stars while avoiding the coconuts.

The second player plays the platform which support the monkey. The theme of this Jam was "Retrogaming"

Light Tracker is a one player game where you control sort of an avatar. You have to find the 4 artifacts hidden in the maze to do the "Ritual" (theme of this Game Jam) but watch out, you're not alone in that maze... This game requires a 360 Controller to be played!

Town Sweet Town is a gestion game. You'll have to use the different layers at your disposal to modify the buildings that'll be pressent in your city. Depending of the buildings presents, the inhabitants will have different interactions. Your goal is to make your town the happier possible! The the of Impact Jam is to make game with  a social dimension.

Rituel is a game where a player has a ritual to accomplish. He's alone surrounded by other players. Each of these players got a smartphone in their hand that produce sound. For every player, their smartphone emits more sound the more they move except for one, whose device emits more sound when he's immobile. This player is the target of the lone player, who got his eyes blinded. He must find and catch his target. The them of this jam was to make games with smartphone, triggered by the players movements.
