Kaiju is a Virtual Reality game made during two months at ICAN.

In this game, you embody a Kaiju, a huge and very powerful beast (Godzilla is a Kaiju, for instance). The player's goal is to destroy all the city around him

I was in charge of the main design decisions in this project. I helped the team to work to reach the main intentions that drived our project. I've written all the Game Design Document except the graphs part. 

 

Conception Process :

For this game, we wanted our player to experiment a compleate release. This main intention came from our first prototype where players used it in a complete different way that what we planed. So we put in place mecanics and a system producing a real Paida. Because it was short-timed project, we had to focus on the heart of the experience and how to deliver it the best. So, after we managed to have a prototype near enough from our main intention, we balanced it and modified it to fit the most to the experience we wanted.
